Avoiding that inbox? Here are a few of my picks from around the MPR blogs:
* Euan Kerr encourages you to check out the feature on Neil Gaiman.
* Meteorologist Craig Edwards notes that come fall, the weather business picks up.
* Did Twins overachieve or waste an opportunity? You tell Steve Rudolph and the other Bleacher Bums.
* Gillian Martin writes about the latest round between newspapers vs. music critics: Just don't actually criticize, please.
* Last but not least, you must read (and comment on!) the Minnesota U.S. Senate debate - Rochester live blog transcript on News Cut.

The answer to that question might run along the lines of, "Who isn't?" whether by choice or not. Still, my colleagues in Public Insight Journalism are looking for news sources:
"Is panic over who will win keeping you up at night? Do you skip dates, work or school to catch debates or attend rallies? Or, have you written a song for John McCain or changed your middle name to Hussein?Tell Weekend America if - or how - you're obsessing over the presidential election. Your story may appear on the program. We're interested in hearing about any and all ways this year's presidential campaign has consumed your life."
