I opened an online discussion about the circumstances surrounding the September 8, 2008 United Airlines' stock drop.
Like many air disasters, you might be able to attribute the stock plummeting to a series of mistakes, but as an employee of a news site (MPR.org, naturally) I have to wonder... What if online news sites had some standard layout guidelines. Might a set of clear "archive" status cues might have prevented it all?
