This week the Musicheads wonder if musical taste runs in the family: Was there any music that your parents listened to that you liked too? Host Bill DeVille gives "extra points if it was not approved by your friends."
Some interesting answers:
"I learned to like opera from my parents. My dad liked Italian opera mostly the bel canto variety. My mom likes that stuff, but also liked Wagner. I didn't realize until I was in junior high that most peoples parents did not listen to opera. Most of my friends [think] opera is annoying crap." - Pat D.Chime in with your answer and share your music-loving past."Well, I'm in my fifties, so there's a time shift. I never heard my dad play music, but he bought the 45 of Chuck Berry's 'You Never Can Tell', and it blew me away." - Ken Novak
"Never had music in the house when I was growing up. But my kids listen to and enjoy a lot of the stuff my husband and I listen to. Strange, when they were teens they didn't want any part of it, but now? Also, my husband and I have come to enjoy some of the music that they listen to." - Ginny A.
