I checked in to see what people saying about the new bridge:

"I drove across this morning. Traffic flow was good, there is a nicer view of the downtown skyline on the new bridge." - Bob Moffitt

"Yep. I hope this one lasts a little longer (there are ancient Roman bridges that are still up)." - Peter Joseph Swanson

"The design is a bit plain, but I think that it was a rush job." - Joe T.

What do we have on the blogs this afternoon...

* Over on News Cut Bob Collins is looking for you to create an ad. For Microsoft. Seriously.

* Steve Seel's entry title speaks for itself: Those Musicheads -- You Know, the Presidential Candidates.

* Movie Natters' Euan Kerr encourages you to rave about a fave... music video. Kerr has a point about how the music video industry has changed movies and editing. Add your two cents in the comments.

* Speaking of two cents... Chris Farrell ends not one but two entry titles today with a question mark: Where's the SEC? and Political economy? I'm worried about the other punctuation options.

* On Classical Notes Rex Levang beckons you in with at tempting title, I'll Tell You the Story of Il Trovatore. He actually points to it, but Levang is an opera expert in his own right.
