MPR Day at the State Fair

There's a few things going on in other news, but I'd be remiss not to point out that today is MPR Day at the Minnesota State Fair! The schedule is a great line up:

* 11 am Midday live! Gary Eichten hosted and guest Senator Amy Klobuchar. the topic: McCain chooses Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin.
* Noon Midday Gary and guest Garrison Keillor talk live.
* 2-3 pm VocalEssence performance with classical music host John Birge.
* 4-5 pm The Current's Kids' Dance Party - DJ Barb Abney will host!
* 3-7 pm The Current's Mary Lucia fires up a live broadcast.
* 7-10 pm The Current DJ Mark Wheat takes over when Lucia takes off.
* 8 pm Grandstand! A Prairie Home Companion with Garrison Keillor.
