A well-rounded view of the state fair
Posted at 9:30 AM on August 30, 2008 by Julia Schrenkler
Can't make it out to the fairgrounds today? My colleague Preston Wright brings us the Minnesota State Fair in 360 degrees. He uses a special 360 photo lens to capture images that completely surround one point, sort of like if you stood still and turned that 360 yourself. It's almost like being there, without the fried food...it really does give you a perspective of being surrounded by the people and sights.
Enjoy the spinning and if you are out at the fair, take some pictures of your own to add to our Flickr pool. Tag them "state fair" and we may feature them on our site.
