Is your bike your primary transportation? A way to kill a couple hours on a summer afternoon? Minnesota Public Radio wants to know the role your bike plays in your life:

Have you recently started biking more often because of gas prices? Are you a long-time bicyclist who is starting to notice changes in the Twin Cities biking scene? Whatever your story may be, we are listening.

Discuss The China Tradeoff

Posted at 4:06 PM on July 10, 2008 by Julia Schrenkler

Couldn't get a space at Policy and a Pint: The China Tradeoff? The event is sold out but there's a waiting list at the venue, and we're hosting an online discussion for participation any time. The first comment is from Jeff:

"As a Minnesotan and a human being my opinion is about as valuable as the next, but we had better cozy up to China quickly.

By 2050 China will be the world leader economically with both a population, an army and a GNP that will eclipse that of the United States, by far."

Is Jeff on the mark? What impact does China have on Minnesota's economy? How complicated is the relationship between the U.S. and China?
