Tell us about the signs you see

Posted at 8:44 AM on June 30, 2008 by Julia Schrenkler

MPR's Michael Caputo posted an interesting discussion on our mnlife.gather.com group. He wonders, What are "signs" of our life?:

"[...] what signs do you see in your day-to-day life that make you pause. We're looking for signs that give not only their overt message, but maybe tell us something more about our current state."

I don't think Caputo means "If you lived here you'd be home by now..." signs, but hey, that might be a good commentary on commuting. Contributor Winston Smith replied to comment on the signs prohibiting weapons that stem from our concealed carry law:

"The signs that bug me are the signs that Minnesota business and organizations have at their entrance that say 'No guns permited in this business.'" - Winston Smith

What signs give you pause? Which ones reflect our times? Join the online discussion or become part of our Public Insight Network and tell us more.
