This is your chance to help MPR cover the story. From Public Insight Journalism:
MnDOT closed Winona's Hwy 43 bridge last night in response to corroded gusset plates that inspectors observed on the bridge this week. The bridge will be closed indefinitely as officials determine what to do, and likely, make repairs. In the meanwhile, people will have to travel 30 miles up or down river to Wabasha or LaCrescent to cross the Mississippi River.
Aside from the hassle of adding this 60-mile detour to your commute, how is the bridge closing affecting you or your business?
