Why do kids care about community/civic life?

Posted at 2:57 PM on April 28, 2008 by Julia Schrenkler

How do they? MPR is opening the door for communication in The Youth Caucus:

Minnesota Public Radio News and the Humphrey Institute are teaming up for a forum that will start this conversation. And the idea is to hear from kids.

If you are between 13 and 18 years old, we would like you to attend.

You will not only talk with dozens of other young people from around the state, but to those in power, who can make decisions about how to spend money and resources to help kids be actively engaged.

Turn up, tune in, and drop an information bomb on us adults.
