Hey, DJ! Yes, you. You're the DJ.

Submit your requests for Radio Free Current now. Assemble a three-song set, request that deep track, or make a dedication to someone or something that needs a little music. We'll play as much as we can on Thursday May 1.

If it isn't enough for you to hear your favorite song on the radio... how about your voice? Grab your computer mic and record a station ID, then upload it.

Why do kids care about community/civic life?

How do they? MPR is opening the door for communication in The Youth Caucus:

Minnesota Public Radio News and the Humphrey Institute are teaming up for a forum that will start this conversation. And the idea is to hear from kids.

If you are between 13 and 18 years old, we would like you to attend.

You will not only talk with dozens of other young people from around the state, but to those in power, who can make decisions about how to spend money and resources to help kids be actively engaged.

Turn up, tune in, and drop an information bomb on us adults.
