Have another cup of coffee and find out which candidates' views match your own in MPR's Select a Candidate. There's a Presidential survey and a Senate survey version handy. If that isn't enough, we'll be streaming live video (and audio, of course) of the Minnesota DFL Senate Candidate Debate from Noon–1 pm.

At any time you're welcome to join the open online discussion in our Minnesota Politics discussion group, Share your voting or caucus experiences, your comments, or links that are helping you keep tabs on today's political action.

Chat with David Sandalow, author of "Freedom from Oil"

Is Super Tuesday about who you're voting for, or what you're really supporting? What if a candidate risked running on a platform of energy independence? Gather regular Greg Schiller is hosting a live chat with David Sandalow, author of "Freedom from Oil":

"'Freedom from Oil' tells this story - providing a fictional account of how the next President of the United States could help end our dependence on oil.The book takes the reader to the highest levels of government, as Cabinet members and White House aides debate how to break our addiction to oil."

From caucus action to catching results

Posted at 9:16 PM on February 5, 2008 by Julia Schrenkler

MPR is reporting both the DFL and GOP caucuses experience big crowds...but how big? In our open online discussion Tim Nelson described the scene:

"We had a big classroom, but we were crowded in like clowns in a tiny car. I passed my voting slip to the guy and left. The streets were packed for blocks all around as cars looked for a place to park."

If you're now home (or never left!) and ready to watch results, you can check out the LIVE RESULTS MAP. Don't forget to keep one eye on MPR's online discussion group mnpolitics.gather.com for others to share their experiences and recaps.
