Mark Zdechlik reports that foreclosures are costing suburbs time and money. There's inspection, trash removal and maintenance to cover, not to mention the impact on the neighborhood itself. Depending on your school of thought, they should never be transposed -or- their use trumps their own definitions.

Death in Iraq

Jessica Mador reports a soldier from Jordan, Minn., killed in Iraq:

Minnesota has lost another soldier to the war in Iraq. Joshua Anderson was a life-long resident of Jordan, in southern Minnesota. Pfc. Anderson was killed last week when a roadside bomb exploded near his vehicle.
