Help MPR cover the news: Mortgage woes and the housing slump

Posted at 9:15 AM on November 1, 2007 by Julia Schrenkler

Minnesota Public Radio's Public Insight Journalism is looking for your experience:

What's your experience with the latest wave of mortgage woes?

When it comes to the housing slump, the focus has been on subprime loans made to lower-income borrowers. But there are other mortgages offered to those with better credit ratings, and higher incomes. How is this affecting you?

With the ebb and flow of the economy, how many of us did bite off more mortgage than we can now chew? Actually, this is pretty interesting. Some might say that lower-income people are always the canaries in our economic coal mine, but MPR is interested in the ongoing effects. Share your experience and join the Public Insight Network, you'll hear about the stories you inform.
