Midmorning: Ian McKellen
Posted at 8:14 AM on October 4, 2007 by Bill Wareham (1 Comments)
I apologize for getting out of the habit of alerting folks to the talkshow guests (and it won't get any better in the next couple of weeks), but I can't let this one get by me:
At 10 a.m., Ian McKellen, one of the most acclaimed Shakespearean actors, is Kerri Miller's guest. He says for most of his career, the role of King Lear was almost unapproachable. But now McKellen earns raves for his portrayal of the tormented king. He performs the role at the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis this month.

Kerri did a great job on the interview.
