Midday: A two-part program on China

At 11 a.m., Carleton College international relations professor and Asia expert Roy Grow will be in the MPR studio with Gary Eichten to talk about the economy, politics and environment of China. Grow is just back from a month-long trip to China, Vietnam and Thailand.
At noon, a Chautauqua Lecture by Elizabeth Economy, director of Asian studies at the Council on Foreign Relations. She is the author of The River Runs Black: The Environmental Challenge to China's Future.
