ARW season opens with "Green Rush"
Posted at 3:03 PM on August 20, 2007 by Bill Wareham
Down the hall from me are the offices of American RadioWorks, arguably the best radio documentary operation in existence. Their season-opening doc Green Rush ran at noon today on Midday, but if you missed it you can still catch it here.
What's it about, you ask? Here's the description:
Some say efforts to confront climate change are near a tipping point. But what will push us over that point? American RadioWorks, the documentary unit of American Public Media, spent six months following a lively group of innovators, entrepreneurs and venture capitalists at the epicenter of America's "green rush." All are seeking riches-and solutions to global climate change.
