Midday: Two former ambassadors on diplomacy

At 11 a.m., former Ambassador Barbara Bodine from MIT's Center for International Studies is Gary Eichten's guest, and will take your questions about the situation in Iraq. Bodine spent 30 years in the U.S. diplomatic coprs and served in the Coalition Provisional Authority in Iraq during 2003.
At noon, a speech from former ambassador Dennis Ross, who tried unsuccessfully to broker peace between Israel and the Palestinians during the Clinton and first Bush administrations. Ross spoke about his new book, Statecraft: And How to Restore America's Standing in the World last week at the Commonwealth Club of California.
