Posted at 10:07 AM on June 4, 2007 by Bill Wareham (1 Comments)

Gov. Tim Pawlenty will be in the MPR studios with Gary Eichten at 11 a.m. to answer MPR listener questions. We’ll be talking about the major issues in the just-concluded legislative session and the governor’s views on the bills he signed and vetoed.

Governor Pawlenty, you vetoed the bill to create a statewide pool for all school district employees. The effect would have been a stabilizing of rates and ultimately a tax savings. This is substantiated by a legislative study, of which I was a member, done with the help of Redens and Anders. I will experience a 19.9% increase this year. What is your alternative to this bill?
