Midday: Former guvs weigh in and Voices of Minnesota

At 11 a.m., former Minnesota governors Arne Carlson and Wendell Anderson will join Gary Eichten to offer their insights on the best ways to bring the 2007 legislative session to a successful conclusion.

At noon, the May edition of MPR's Voices of Minnesota series, featuring the experiences of two Minnesotans who lived during World War II: Frank Ario of Mankato, who survived the Battle of the Bulge and Rita Stallman, who grew up in Iona, Minnesota and went off to work for the Signal Corps in Washington.
