McGuire piles on Strib/PiPress criticism

Posted at 4:05 PM on April 20, 2007 by Bill Wareham

Earlier this week I wrote about Ramsey County Judge David Higgs suggesting that there's much at stake in the Pioneer Press/Star Tribune legal spat above and beyond the information that is or isn't on Par Ridder's laptop.

Former Strib managing editor Tim McGuire offered equally harsh words for his former employer and former rival in a letter to the Strib editors (last item on this page). Some key phrases if you don't want to read through the whole thing: "detestable muck," "reputations and livelihoods are threatened," "a long, public romp in the sewer of accusations and counter-accusations."
