Midmorning: Peter Bell and Kathy Halbreich
Posted at 7:25 AM on March 21, 2007 by Bill Wareham
The Metropolitan Council turns 40 this year, and it's existence has coincided with explosive growth in the Twin Cities metro region. At 9 a.m., Met Council chairman Peter Bell joins Midmorning to discuss that growth and the issues the region faces in the future.
At 10 a.m., Kathy Halbreich is Marianne Combs' guest. Halbreich recently announced she'll be leaving the Walker Art Center, the museum she's led since 1991. She'll discuss the changes she steered the Walker through, the challenges of running a major cultural institution, and her future.
