What's news? PEJ index tracks coverage

The Project for Excellence in Journalism keeps track of what the news media covers through its weekly content analysis index.
I found the index especially interesting this week, but I can't explain why without violating an earlier pledge.

Bill,
I've been following the number of WWI veterans who are still alive. When I first check in early December, there were 51. Today there are only 39! They seem to be disappearing fast. Seems to me this would be a good time for a tribute or remembrance on these guys.
