Midmorning: Web politics and mindless eating
Posted at 7:49 AM on February 2, 2007 by Bill Wareham
From campaign blogs to Internet video to social networking sites, political candidates are relying on the Web more than ever to attract supporters and money. Joining Kerri Miller at 9 a.m. to talk about the phenomenon are Julie Barko Germany, deputy director of the Institute for Politics, Democracy and the Internet at George Washington University; Jason Rosenberg, strategy architect for eccho ditto, an online strategy and communications company; and Mark SooHoo, vice president of Campaign Solutions, a campaign strategy firm.

A food marketing expert says it's a result of mindless eating, and it's one of the reasons why we have trouble losing weight. Dr. Brian Wansink, director of the Cornell University Food and Brand Lab and author of Mindless Eating: Why We Eat More Than We Think joins Kerri Miller at 10 a.m.
