Midmorning: Jim Brandenberg and garden guru
Posted at 7:51 AM on February 15, 2007 by Bill Wareham
For photographer Jim Brandenburg, a passion for preserving the prairie fires his craft. He talks about his efforts to acquire land to return to prairie and his many other, photographic projects.
At 9 a.m., we'll rebroadcast Kerri Miller's conversation with Brandenburg, founder of the Brandenburg Prairie Foundation. His books of photographs include Chased By The Light.
At 10 a.m., Kerri's guest is horticulturist Deb Brown. Our gardens are frozen, but gardeners still can dream about the glory to come. Brown answers your pre-planting questions. She worked for many years at the University of Minnesota Extension Service's Yard & Garden Line.
