Newly-elected members of Congress were in Washington today for orientation on the whys and wherefores of Capitol Hill. All Things Considered host Tom Crann will talk to 6th District Republican Michele Bachmann about the experience.
Ambar Espinoza will look at attempts to stem the increase in fetal and infant mortality among Latino women. Health officials have been successful in this area with African American and Native American groups, but Latinos present special challenges that include language barriers and immigration status.
