Midday: Minnesotans' concerns and the "religious left"

At 11 a.m., the results of an extensive survey of Minnesotans about their major concerns, conducted by the Citizens League as part of their Minnesota 150th Anniversary Project. Sean Kershaw and Stacy Becker of the Citizens League will be Gary Eichten's guests in the MPR studios to talk about the state's future.
At noon, a recent Twin Cities speech by Rabbi Michael Lerner, about why he thinks the Democrats need a "religious left." Rabbi Lerner is editor of Tikkun magazine, and he spoke at the Midwest Conference of the Network of Spiritual Progressives, held at Wesley United Methodist Church in Minneapolis.
