Posted at 6:31 PM on October 10, 2006 by Bill Wareham
Minneapolis Mayor R.T. Rybak has launched plans for making the city more livable through better design. MPR's Brandt Williams reports on Rybak's idea for seeking residents' input and working with a team of architects and designers for pulling it off.
Bob Reha will have a report from Moorhead, where Minnesota's U.S. Senate candidates will debate Tuesday night. (If you want to hear it live, we're streaming it at 7 p.m. Look for the link on our home page.)
And Morning Edition host Cathy Wurzer talks to former Minneapolis Laker and NBA hall of famer Vern Mikkelson about his newly released autobiography.
