The jury is still deliberating on whether Alphonso Rodriguez Jr. should be eligible for the death penalty. MPR's Bob Reha is standing by in the Fargo courtroom and will have a report as soon as we have word.
The Minnesota Medical Association has issued a report on the growing trend of insurance companies to group doctors and clinics in tiers. The doctors' group has concerns over whether the tiered systems focus too much on cost and not enough on quality. Lorna Benson has that story.
And if you've ever been to First Avenue nightclub you probably know who Conrad Sverkerson is - you know, the guy with the serious dreadlocks. The backstage hero suffered an accident this summer, and with it some medical bills. Some of the local rock elite will hold a benefit for Conrad tonight to help him with those bill. Chris Roberts will have a report. (Oh, and the dreads have been gone for awhile now. Face it, you don't get out as much as you used to.)
