A few things worth going back to check out

One of my dirty little secrets: As hard as I try, I don't always get to hear everything MPR News puts on the air at the time it's broadcast. There's too much stuff and too many distractions. So, I end up going back to check things out later, sometimes days later, on the Web.
Here are just a couple of stories worth the trip back:
Mark Steil's report on a young woman in Medford who came to this country illegally, but looks likely to get a visa because she aided in a criminal investigation. That visa policy is so new it looked like Cindy Soto might have trouble qualifying.
Jeff Horwich's follow-up to his special Whose Recovery Is It? report two years ago, analyzing how the recovery trends showing up in aggregate economic data were - or weren't - playing out in the lives of real Minnesotans.
These are just a couple of things I've caught up on in the last day or so. Chances are you've missed out on some great stories the news staff here has produced. The good news is it all still lives online here.
