9/11, primary politics and more on ATC

Posted at 4:23 PM on September 11, 2006 by Bill Wareham

As I mentioned earlier, we'll have full 9/11 anniversary coverage on All Things Considered, including national stories from NPR. Locally, Tim Pugmire will recap today's memorial ceremony at the state Capitol and Annie Baxter will look at how post-9/11 changes have affected commerce.

(A reminder that all our 9/11 anniversary coverage is collected here.)

In politics, Laura McCallum has a final pre-primary look at the challenges to the three major-party gubernatorial endorsees. Tim Post looks at Michael Cruze's challenge of Senate Majority Leader Dean Johnson, DFL-Willmar. It's Johnson's first challenger in 28 years, and he has accused the GOP of meddling in the DFL primary.

We'll also dip into the archives to hear from one of Minnesota's sports legends, golfer Patty Berg, who died over the weekend at age 88.
