Welcome to the News Grid

Whether by chance or design, you're reading the first "official" entry in the Minnesota Public Radio newsroom blog. Yes, there are earlier entries below this one, but those amounted to practice, a way to get comfortable with tools and techniques of blogging.

What can you expect to find here? Like most blogs this one will be a work in progress so I'm not quite sure. The primary goal is to provide some insight about what's going on in the MPR newsroom. That will mean regular previews about stories and talk show topics. It will also mean occasionally pulling back the curtain to reveal the details of our craft and the issues we confront.

I hope you'll come back, and over time find this interaction rewarding.

Cool... ever since those schleps took over at Polinaut, I've been looking for an alternative. (just kidding)

Interesting premise for the blog, I look forward to following it!
