On Monday, MPR's All Things Considered host Tom Crann talked to adventurers Lonnie Dupre and Eric Larson via satellite phone from the North Pole. (Which still amazes me - like so many people, I grew up in one of those households where any call out of the area code was a REALLY BIG DEAL.)
Anyway, turns out they're getting what must be the arctic explorer version of a bump up to business class for the return - a Russian freighter.
