In scrounging mode today

It's one of those days when you leave the morning editorial meeting and you realize there aren't a lot of things fighting to be the day's top news story.
Right now we have political reporter Laura McCallum heading to a news conference where Gov. Pawlenty is expected to make an announcement regarding education policy. Duluth reporter Stephanie Hemphill is heading to the Gunflint Trail to check on BWCA fire damage. And we're nosing around on a few other things.
