Sad local music news...

Remember The Current's 5th Birthday Party when Lookbook absolutely wowed the crowd at First Avenue? It was an amazing performance that cemented them as a "band to watch."
Maybe you know someone who knows someone who heard rumblings about this a few days ago... Well, sadly, today the rumors about the breakup of the much loved duo have been confirmed. Many of us on staff at The Current are shocked and totally bummed out by the news.

While the bright side may be that both Maggie and Grant will go on to new and exciting projects in the future, we will still have to wait for that to happen. So, let's revisit their most recent performance on the station, recorded less than three weeks ago during a live broadcast of The Local Show at The Minnesota State Fair...
