This weekend is the annual Austin City Limits Festival in Austin, TX, this year featuring such giant name marquee acts as Pearl Jam, Kings of Leon and Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and indie faves like Andrew Bird, The Avett Brothers and Blitzen Trapper.
For today's 9:30 Coffee Break, though, we thought we'd pay tribute to this very, very musical town from another angle: by taking your requests for bands that actually hail from this fair city.

Thanks once again to everyone for voting!
Thousands of votes and believe it or not only ONE vote between the #1 & #2?!?! Other surprises included George making a big showing with two songs in the Top 5. Including our winning song, "While My Guitar Gently Weeps"...
CONGRATS TO JOSHUA WILL OF MINNEAPOLIS!
He was very excited to let his young children play with the XBOX & Beatles Rock Band!
"A Day in a Life" was the most popular guess while we inched our way to #1 between 6 and 7pm tonight. But kudos should go to Brooke from Omaha who correctly predicted the top two!! It's been fabulous revisiting the best band forever! Going by these votes 'The Beatles (White Album)' is your fave and Paul definitely wins the best songwriter category...um...I seem to remember making that claim last year on this very blog, yes folks that's what this month has been all about, proving me right!
