I was remiss in not pointing out the Fargo Film Festival, North Dakota's premier film event, which launched yesterday. Now running for almost a decade the festival features work from film makers all over the USA.
And of course there is the MPR Family Movie Night. I just heard the Movie Maven, Stephanie Curtis, recording promo spots for Saturday night's event. It promises to be a lot of fun, with Buster Keaton silents accompanies by the Fitzgerald Theater's Mighty Wurlitzer organ, and live sound effects by Tom Keith. And there will be tap-dancing!
