Later this week Minneapolis director Sam Thompson and his crew will celebrate the world premiere of "Living Arrangements" at the Uptown Theater.
It's a horror comedy, the story of Billie and Sasha, two vegan animal rights activists whose lives are turned upsidedown when they discover a werewolf living in their South Minneapolis attic. Caught between their principles of helping animals living a (raw) meat free existance they have to make some difficult decisions.
Shot on what the film website describes as a micro-budget, much of the film was shot in Thompson's apartment.
Joe Noreen and Alexandra Glad play Sasha and Billie with deadpan aplomb. There is a certain amount of ribbing of overly serious progressive types. It's also a lot of fun to see parts of Minneapolis on-screen.
The music is also provided by local artists including Mark Mallman.
The movie screens at 7pm on Thursday March 19th.
