What an incredible film, led by an incredible actress in Kristen Scott Thomas, playing the central character Juliette.
It's a taut drama about what happens when Juliette turns up to live with her sister after an absence of several years. Writer-director Phillipe Claudel lets the story build slowly, literally focusing on tiny details about the characters, as the jigsaw of what has happened earlier in Juliette's life comes together to reveal the larger picture.
To reveal more would be to spoil the experience of anyone going to see it, but see it you should!
