Despite concerns about low box office for Iraqi war films British film maker Nick Broomfield is wrestling with the story of one of the more controversial US military actions in the Iraq war.
He talked to NPR's Scott Simon about how he used former US Marines and Iraqi's now living in Jordan to recreate what happened. The movie is released in New York next week and then goes on national release.
(It's strange to remember the fuss made a few years ago when Broomfield came through the Twin Cities to talk about his movie "Chicken Ranch" about the notorious Nevada brothel. Times have changed.)
