It's strange what people get animated about.
Of all the things that I've written about on this blog I could have seen people getting bent out of shape as they did about "300."
But Zinedine Zidane?
And how about "Eragon?"
The movie came out three months ago and not a lot of people got that excited about it. However the DVD is out now and there is a steady stream of interest.
The film hasn't got any better of course, but it seems to be building fans.

Whew. Where to begin. The book was a huge hit with the family - let me tell you, it was a bear to read aloud - but we enjoyed it. Passed on the movie in the theater, waiting for the rental...
Man. At one point I found myself just looking around the room. You know a movie tanked with the small audience when everyone wants to pretend it didn't happen. Normally there are multiple kidlet requests for constant viewing, which is probably fueling some of the renewed interest you mention, Euan.
So, uhm, to say something good: The flying scenes seemed to be a hit with kids of a certain age.
p.s. although Rachel Weisz provided the voice of the dragon and that had possibility, there was little coordination between her voice and the cgi'd character's expression - it felt cheap.
