Asking students about education? Imagine that.

The topic of education reform in the U.S. revolves around improving standards. That, of course, includes Minnesota. In the last few weeks, the state's education department, Gov. Tim Pawlenty and the state's top teachers union have all debated what real education reform looks like.

There is no doubt that adults have been having their say on the state of education. But what about the customers of that curriculum - the students?

On Thursday at 11 a.m., Minnesota Public Radio will hold an online forum with juniors and seniors who attend Chatfield Junior-Senior High School in Southern Minnesota. They'll be asked to talk about their school experiences - and how the drive for standardized testing and higher standards has changed being a student.
