Another take on Honduras

On June 28th Honduran President Manuel Zelaya was ousted from office and forced to leave the country. Articles like this one from the Times called it a military coup. The United Nations called for Zelaya to be reinstated. Even President Obama spoke up in support of the banished President.

"He turned into this martyr that everyone had to come out and help," says Jasmin Teague.

Jasmin grew up and currently lives in Honduras. To her and many of her acquaintances, the story portrayed by the world media of an unfairly overthrown leader is way out of line with what actually happened. Jasmin and her husband run a blog on life in Honduras. We decided to call her up to hear her take on the story.
