On June 28th Honduran President Manuel Zelaya was ousted from office and forced to leave the country. Articles like this one from the Times called it a military coup. The United Nations called for Zelaya to be reinstated. Even President Obama spoke up in support of the banished President.
"He turned into this martyr that everyone had to come out and help," says Jasmin Teague.
