In the Loop

Post-apocolyptic buildings and ultra-elegant toilets

How many times have you had to go to the bathroom when you are out and about but you're too afraid of the grossness that awaits so you hold it until you are home?

Well, imagine if your public restroom experience wasn't one of disgust, but rather one of decadence! In The Loop listener and architect Ruth Knapp stopped by to tell us about the best restrooms in America, including one that has a chandelier. There is currently a contest to nominate the number one loo in the country, but these days, people can pick their own fairly easily with on the go iPhone apps. Check out our Facebook page for some talk about our listener's favorite restrooms.

Ruth also tells us about a new building designed to look like it's falling apart and she vents a bit with Jeff about how embarrassing paint names have become. What are some good shades of paint you have come across?
