NewsTune: (Here Comes the) Public Plan!

Posted at 5:22 PM on July 22, 2009 by Jeff Horwich (2 Comments)

Seems like the debate over health care reform could come down this whole "public option" or "public plan" thing: Will the government have an insurance plan that can catch the uninsured and provide some additional competition for private insurers? Republicans in Congress don't like it; Obama has said he won't sign a bill without it.

If that's not a song-in-the-making, I don't know what is. With a special cameo by Glenn Beck!

Thanks to Sanden Totten for helping putting his super hero mind together with mine to find a suitable tune.

Listen for this one in the next podcast.
