Had no idea: The Olympics have started already

And already the U.S. is on the ropes, losing 2 - 0 to Norway in women's soccer:

Apparently the 18-day Olympics is too short a time to hold a 12-team (for women; 16-team for men) soccer tournament. So they start early.

Poor McCain! Even Paris Hilton is taking shots at him!

McCain can't catch a break! First the press ignores him to cover the Obama world cruise. So he strikes back with this add. Now he's got Paris Hilton coming after him! When someone who was once quoted as saying "Wal-Mart... do they like make walls there?" is making you look silly, that can't be good.

Hmmm, not a bad energy policy Paris. But give McCain a break on the whole "older than dirt" thing. He can't help it. It's funny to think though, that 8 years ago McCain was the cool outsider candidate in the race. Now he's the Mr. Belding of politics.
