To follow up on Jeff's post, I found a neat bio on the folks who put together these educational anthems. You can check it out at the YesButNoButYes blog.

The team has some pretty interesting members. Like the secretary who was hired on after she wrote a song about a boyfriend called "You're Just a Phase". Or the rocker named Ezra Mohawk who use to run with Zappa and Jerry Garcia. Good stuff. And you can find out what they are up to now too.

Bob Dorough (Schoolhouse Rock's Music Director) was on A Prairie Home Companion in December of 2006, and again this past March. The Brill building segment from Dec. is especially interesting.
