Making the Internet more intuitive

Picking up where Sanden left off, the semantic web is one solution to the problem of navigation.

The web is linear, and web pages are analogs for the printed page. Google's great, but it's a tool for seeking and finding, not exploration or serendipity. And once you get to a page, you need to read from left to right, top to bottom and then follow links one to the next to find what you're looking for.

But what if you could navigate the web like a star map (see Digg Swarm for a glimmer)? Or how about a house, or a city?

Maybe we'll be able to, hopefully soon.
And here's the new tool that you'll probably end up using to get around the web someday.
