Override? It could happen

Posted at 3:08 PM on May 14, 2007 by Bob Collins

The House just passed the gas tax bill (I don't have an opinion on the gas tax but could y'all slow down on I-94. I drive 55 mph -- to save gas -- and you're blowing my doors off!) , by a vote of 91-to-42. That's more than enough to override an expected veto from Gov. Pawlenty.. at least in the House. The votes aren't there in the Senate.

Of course, since this is an omnibus bill, it's got no MFL points to its name.
