Rep. Frank Moe had a good MFL week by any standard, but admittedly his week looks a little better here than it really was. I had a misassociated link on an Exel spreadsheet that wasn't properly adding up the points for the number of bills he filed. The commissioner apologizes for his error.

LOOKING THROUGH THE CRYSTAL BALL
The Beavers will extend their lead in the MFL this coming week with the Democratic contingent of Moe, Lillie, Ward and Haws leading the way. Expect Rep. Moe to take the lead in the Power Rankings early in the week with Rep. Maria Ruud, Rep. Lillie and Rep. Abeler nipping at his heels. Rep. Haws should have a strong week with many of his Veterans initiatives being heard and passed by various committees. Freshman Rep. Ward will continue his climb up the standings giving the Beavers 3 spots in the top 10. The Beaver Republicans, Demmer and Magnus will also continue their bipartisan approach and make solid contributions. As an aside, Rep. Abeler has recently filed a bill to expand healthcare coverage for the uninsured through MnCare, co-authored with Rep. Moe among others. My guess is that this bill has legs in the House and will pick up steam in the coming weeks.

So the Maroon League has these three "Larrys" available: Larry Haws, Larry Howes, Larry Hosch.
Was it a really good year to run as Larry H. in 2006, or what?
And just how similarly are these three gentlemen's names pronounced?
